Site Street Represents Austin at International Business Convention
The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce held their annual business and leadership conference in San Francisco, California this past weekend. Site Street was in attendance as one of two official representatives of the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the three day conference, Site Street founder Jimmy Flannigan and fellow Austinite Jimmy Beard from Dell met with other local chambers from around the country, sharing success stories and discussing the challenges of representing and serving the local LGBT business community.
Site Street has been a longtime supporter of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, being one of the very first organizations to join the chamber back in 2002. Additionally, Site Street supported the chamber financially through donated web services through their explosive growth during their first three years of existance. "Supporting LGBT businesses requires both local and a national efforts," says Site Street founder Jimmy Flannigan. "We are proud to support our local LGBT chamber as well as represent Austin on a national level."
