Last week I decided to audition for American Idol. Since that point, my stomach has been in knots... I can barely work, can't get to sleep... all I can think about is singing and this silly audition.
I went to my regular networking group today and instead of asking for a regular referral, I simply asked people to wish me well during my auditions in the following week. I got a thunderous round of applause, which felt good... addictive, actually ;-) If nothing else, hopefully this whole Idol thing will at least make people remember me.
